My work grows out of modern drawing and painting practices but often extends into the third dimension by the incorporation of collage or sculptural elements such as found objects. When found objects are used, they are often altered in some way. Some the pieces that have stretched beyond two dimensions are wall-oriented objects ("paintings" in the broadest sense of thst word). Others are sculptures that do not have a relationship with a wall. And of course there is drawing...
